A Knack for the Obscure

Our favorite thing about The Ohio Light Opera is the opportunity to resurrect obscure operettas gems. Last summer, we played the vaudevillian duo Punks and Spooks in Victor Herbert’s The Lady of the Slipper.

This season’s obscure undertaking is Franz Lehar’s Cloclo. Stephen is Chablis, CloClo’s lascivious piano teacher. Nate is Petipouf, a police officer who rises to fame after getting punched in the face by Cloclo.
